Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv bolstered its frontcourt by inking center Arinze Onuaku on Tuesday. Onuaku (2.06 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Minnesota of the NBA, where he averaged 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 5 games last season. He started the 2014-15 season with Canton of the D-League, averaging 18.9 points and 13.3 rebounds in 18 games. Onuaku went on to play for San Miguel Beerman of the Philippines before returning to Canton and joining Minnesota. Onuaku has also played for Rio Grande and Erie Bay of the D-League, Neptunas Klaipeda of Lithuania, New Orleans and Cleveland of the NBA, as well as for Chongqing Fly Dragon of China. He helped Rio Grande reach the D-League finals in 2011. Onuaku is set to make his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut with Maccabi this season.
