Germani Brescia announced on Monday signing veteran forward Christian Burns to a new two-year deal. Burns (2.03 meters, 36 years old) has been with the team the last two years. Last season he averaged 6.4 points and 4.8 rebounds for Brescia, club where he also had a one-year stint in the 2016-17 season. Burns has two 7DAYS EuroCup seasons under his belt, the 2014-15 campaign with CEZ Basketball Nymburk of the Czech Republic, and the latest one in the 2020-21 with Brescia. In 22 appearances he has posted 10.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals.

Big forward has played a pair of seasons in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with AX Armani Exchange Milan. Before his two-year stint in Milan, Burns was Italian League rebounding leader when he pulled down 10.2 boards in the 2017-18 season with Pallacanestro Cantu. During his career, Burns has also played in Poland for AZS Koszalin, in Portugal for FC Porto, in Germany for ratiopharm Ulm, in Ukraine for Zaporizhya, in Israel for Elitzur Netanya, in Russia for Enisey Krasnoyarsk, in the United Arab Emirates for Al Wasl, and in Italy for Montegranaro and Napoli. Burns has also been a member of the Italian national team.
