Buducnost VOLI Podiroga is into the final of the Ljubo Jovanovic Memorial Tournament after beating Sutjeska 99-90 in double overtime. Three of Buducnost's new arrivals this summer were able to get into double figures during this semifinal, as Trae Bell-Haynes, Phil Booth and Cameron Reynolds finished with 18, 13 and 11 points, respectively. Sutjeska, a team in the ABA League 2, made life difficult for the ABA League side, as it scored a two-pointer to send the game to overtime before Booth missed a chance to win the contest after the first extra period. During the second overtime period, Igor Drobnjak drained a three-pointer for Buducnost to open up a six-point lead en route to a nine-point victory.
