Germani Brescia registered its first win of the season with a resounding 104-70 triumph over visiting Prometey Slobozhanske on Wednesday night. Both teams hold 1-1 records in Group A after a game in which Brescia used a 28-12 third quarter to break the game wide open.

Troy Caupain paced the hosts with 18 points and 6 assists and Amadeo Della Valle scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half. David Cournooh scored 14 points for Brescia, which had six double-digit scorers. DJ Stephens tallied 11 points and 8 rebounds for the visitors and Caleb Agada scored 10 in a losing effort.

Brescia started take control of the game when Della Valle and John Petrucelli hit back-to-back triples during a 10-0 run that put the hosts up 20-12. Prometey answered with consecutive threes from Clavell and Illia Sydorov, but Brescia remained in front. Della Valle had a pair of assists and a transition three-pointer to make it 36-26 in the second quarter, but Promtey finished the half with a last-second three-pointer, this time from DJ Stephens to cut it to 48-42 at the break. Brescia built a 58-47 lead midway through the third after David Moss and Caupain each nailed a three-pointer. Kenny Gabriel's corner triple and another one from Caupain helped open a 72-51 margin. The lead kept growing in the fourth, soon breaking a 30-point margin, as Brescia cruised to its first win of the season.
