No longer a newcomer, Veolia Hamburg Towers come into their second 7DAYS EuroCup campaign with a new head coach in Raoul Korner and a brand-new roster. Hamburg has put together an intriguing blend of talent and experience that should have plenty of hunger and ambition to compete with the best of them.
BACKCOURT
Hamburg will feature one of the youngest playmaking trios in the competition. Explosive point guard Kendale McCullum, at 26 years of age, will carry most of the load in his first season in the competition. He arrives with proven credentials after leading the German League last season with 7.4 assists and 2.4 steals per game. Behind him, Hamburg will have two very talented youngsters in Len Schoorman and Ziga Samar, the latter of the two is a member of the Slovenian national team and on loan from ALBA Berlin. They will share the backcourt with scoring guard James Woodard, the oldest in the bunch at 28, as well as teenager Leif Moeller who was promoted from Hamburg's youth teams.
