Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade has found a man to run its offense in point guard Jaylen Adams who signed a one-year deal, the club announced Friday. Adams (1.88 meters, 26 years old) has last played with Sydney in the Australian League where he averaged 20.8 points on 41.3% three-point shooting with 5.8 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals. He led the team to winning the league title and earned the league MVP award.
Prior to his season in Australia, Adams has played in his native United States. After four years at St. Bonaventure University, he split the 2018-19 season, his first as a pro, between Atlanta in the NBA and Erie Bay in G League. In the next two campaigns he played with Milwaukee and Portland in the NBA, as well as Wisconsin in G League. He is now set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut.
