"It's an important win that I am very happy about. We played for more than three quarters a very complete game - defensively and offensively. We even managed to build a 21-point lead. I think after coming off four losses in a row we thought the game was finished and we relaxed too much. And of course when you relax you get scared. We complicated our life in the last five minutes. Honestly, I need to congratulate my team because it's never easy to break a losing streak. It's much easier to break a winning streak. Monaco has the athleticism and a very good point guard and the size. And we managed to not let them play in the open court. And that was pretty important. So, we got a good win and now we move on."

“I think it was very difficult to play with only one point guard against the players he is facing; Sergio Rodriguez and the rest of the team. It was very tough for us to organize and control the game. We went down by 21 points. My players showed some good energy and they wanted to do something more, but [Milan] tonight was much stronger in every situation. In the first half, we played offense wrong. We were too static. We didn't share the ball. Whenever we ran and moved and passed, we had some good results and scored. But it is very tough in individual situations, even post-up."
