Olympiacos Piraeus added size and athleticism to its paint inking a one-year deal with center Joel Bolomboy, the club announced Wednesday morning. Bolomboy (2.04 meters, 28 years old) arrives from CSKA Moscow where he played the last four seasons, ever since he came to play on the European continent. Bolomboy helped CSKA win the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague title in his rookie season in 2019, and reach the Final Four in 2021.
Last season he posted career-best 5.9 points and 4.1 rebounds in EuroLeague, and in 103 career appearances in the competition he averages 4.8 points and 3.4 rebounds. He also posted 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in the VTB League last season.
