FC Barcelona won the Catalan League for the 23rd time after defeating Joventut Badalona 82-92 in the final in Tarragona, Spain. Nikola Kalinic scored 11 of his team-high 17 points in the fourth quarter to lead Barcelona. Alex Abrines and Nicolas Laprovittola added 12 points apiece and Kyle Kuric scored 11. Henry Ellenson shined early as Joventut took a 14-5 lead. He finished with 10 first-quarter points, though Barcelona closed the gap to 21-17 after 10 minutes. Abrines led Barcelona on a 0-10 second-quarter run to grab a 37-41 advantage at the break. The margin grew to double figures in the third quarter, which finished with Barca ahead 59-68. Kyle Guy and Andres Feliz helped Joventut close the gap to 6 in the final stanza, but a strong finish by Kalinic allowed Barcelona to close out the win. Ellenson and Simon Birgander led Joventut with 16 points apiece, Ante Tomic scored 15 and Guy had 10.
Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz held off Sume Bilbao Basket 87-91 to win the Euskal Cup. After falling behind early, Baskonia dominated the middle two quarters 43-61 to take charge and held on late to grab the win. Daulton Hommes led five Baskonia scorers in double figures with 18 points, Rokas Giedraitis and Matt Costello added 13 points apiece, Maik Kotsar contributed 12 points and Steven Enoch posted 11 points and 8 rebounds. Darius Thompson dished 8 assists for Baskonia. Denzel Andersson scored 18 points and Adam Smith posted 15 points and 7 boards in defeat.
