Kazys Maksvytis, Zalgiris Kaunas head coach
"I am happy for my team. One more time, we fought until the end. It is becoming our team's face and there were not easy moments in this game. We were losing by double digits, but I am happy that the team stepped up, fought until the end and we won this game. Our local fans, local Lithuanians that are living here [in Valencia] helped us, and a lot of people came with us. We have a big crowd behind us, and when you have such a big crowd supporting you, you just fight until the end. They are helping us very much.
"First of all, we started the game badly and Valencia got an advantage. It almost costed us the win, but I am happy how the team changed the game, starting from the second quarter and finishing with the second half – [by using our] defense. It is a good away win – it is not easy to play here in Valencia – so congratulations to my team and to our fans, who supported us today. They are helping us a lot, not only at home, like you see, but in away games. If you have such support, such crowd behind you, it encourages you to play much better. I am happy with the fans we have, and they are helping us a lot."
