Two teams who had opposite results earlier this week clash on Thursday as Real Madrid (6-3) welcomes Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade (4-5) for a Round 10 game. Previously, these two teams have met as many as 16 times in the EuroLeague since 2000, and Los Blancos have won 14 of those encounters, including the last three. In Round 9, Real managed to pull a solid road win at Valencia, 73-80, behind 28 points by Dzanan Musa. On the other side, Partizan comes from a road loss at Barcelona, 79-68, despite 23 points and 2 assists by Danilo Andjusic.
Partizan completes tour of Spain with Madrid visit
Real Madrid has managed to climb into a tie for second place in the standings and now will have a new chance to solidify its position at home. The team ranks fourth or better in average PIR, defensive rebounds, total rebounds, assists, blocks and two-point percentage, which gives an idea of just how solid head coach Chus Mateo's team is. On offense, both teams have almost identical figures, but on defense, Real is allowing about 7 fewer points per game than the guests, so there's a bit of an edge there. If the going gets tough, Real would be wise not to send Partizan too much to the free throw line, as it is the second-best team in the league from that distance (83.1%).

Partizan had a good streak that was stopped in Barcelona on Tuesday. Now, the Serbian team will try to get back on its feet at such a difficult venue as Wizink Arena. The guests will have to put the pedal to the metal on defense if they want to stop the flow of Real's ball-sharing offense (20.2 apg.). The hosts also outplay the guests under the glass, so Partizan will want to maintain the good shot selection that has it ranked second in the league from beyond the arc (39.7%).
