#EUROLEAGUEUNITED: Players showing solidarity

May 19, 2020 by Euroleague.net Print

On Monday, Zalgiris Kaunas started training for the first time after a two-month hiatus. Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade moved its practices indoors and four Spanish clubs continued with workouts. Meanwhile, AX Armani Exchange Milan is doing voluntary individual activities. All the clubs are following all the protocols and instructions from their local authorities.

ESPECIALLY HAPPY TO BE BACK: Baskonia point guard Jayson Granger is thrilled to get back to practicing again after recovering from a torn Achilles tendon that he suffered in late September.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES: Sergio Llull airballed a triple on his first day back at the gym, but did much better on Day 2.

This is how Luigi Datome of Fenerbahce is working out.

Many of you is asking me what do I do when I practice by myself. Here an example: (Time lapse is crucial again, for same motivations of weight lifting sessions, plus nobody understands if the ball is going in or not). -warm up(ball handling+feet agility) -spot up 2 points (50 shots) -dribble on spot + 2 points (50 shots) - alternate: 2 dribbles jumper+ replace 3 points shot(10 made per 3 positions, last 3 in a row) -alternate: 2 dribbles step back+ relocate 3 points (10 made per 3 positions, last 3 in a row). -alternate: 3 points shot running in position +3 points shot spot up(20 per 3 position, last 3 in a row) -pick n roll both side, 12 shots different solutions. -3 points spot up (100 shots) -3 points spot up 8,5 meters (30 shots) -3 points spot up 10 meters(2 times 5 in a row) #serinascorinascogigione #paladatome #santacrocebasket #olbiariparte #pianopiano

LONG WAY UP: Trying to stay in shape, Milan center Arturas Gudaitis has found a very long set of stairs and some extra load to make it tougher.

FAMILY SHOOTING: It looks like great shooting touch runs in the Janis Strelnieks family. The CSKA guard's daughter has some fantastic celebration moves, too.

BASKETBALL CHEFS: Ahmet Duverioglu of Fenerbahce and Marius Grigonis of Zalgiris showcased some of their culinary skills.

QUARANTINE TIMES: Some easing of restrictions has allowed many people to get out of the house a little bit. Kyle Hines, Andrea Cinciarini and Andrew Albicy all enjoyed their time in the sun.
