About the program:

FC Bayern Munich has developed its One Team program in partnership with Bellevue di Monaco, a social cooperative that organizes diverse cultural programs, such as going to the theatre, small concerts, readings, and panel discussions, as well as more intensive advisory services, language courses and training sessions. The Bellevue houses are home to young refugees who, after being cared for by youth welfare services, are accompanied into an independent life. These houses also help refugees with special needs, particularly in the case of families. Bayern's program looks to support refugees and help integrate them into society by using the One Team sessions as a tool, where the coaches use basketball to emphasize key life skills that are tailored to the participants' needs. The program, which began in October 2022 and will continue through April 2023, is being held at the Audi Dome facilities and aims to create an important positive impact on those involved by mixing refugees with non-refugee participants. Bayern's partner, BayWa, is economically supporting the program, while first-team player Elias Harris has been appointed as One Team Ambassador for the 2022-23 season.
