About the Program:
Panathinaikos Athens is delivering its One Team Program together with Special Olympics Hellas for the second consecutive season. Special Olympic Hellas has established itself as one of the most active organizations both in the field of sports and education, providing year-long sports training and athletic competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities for 30 years. The main objective of this season’s program is to help the athletes identify their strengths and realize their potential both in basketball and as a member of society. Around 20 participants aged 15-45 are attending the program, which consists of 12 sessions over 12 weeks, each lasting two hours. The program is broken down into three categories, one of each covered each month: social development, self-development, and leadership.
