The quarterfinals at the FIBA Basketball World Cup are set after Sunday's games. Italy, Serbia, Latvia and Canada, the latter of whom knocked out resigning champion Spain, all won to advance, while Germany and Lithuania remained undefeated and won their respective groups.
The quarterfinal pairing will feature Italy vs. the United States of America, and Germany vs. Latvia in the top half of the bracket and it will be Lithuania vs. Serbia, and Canada vs. Slovenia in the lower half. Five of the teams that reached the quarterfinals have multiple active Turkish Airlines EuroLeague players and a sixth, Latvia, has five former EuroLeague players in addition to Zalgiris Kaunas's Rolands Smits.
