Shake Milton makes move to EuroLeague with Partizan

Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade has a new man in its backcourt, having signed shooting guard Shake Milton to a two-year contract, the club announced Thursday night.
Milton (1.98 meters, 28 years old) arrives from the NBA, where he spent the last seven seasons. Milton split last season between the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers. He averaged 7.4 points and 2.3 assists in 27 games with the Nets then with the Lakers he posted 3.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 32 games.
The new Partizan shooting guard is a veteran of 359 regular season games in the NBA with career averages of 8.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He also had another 40 appearances in the NBA playoffs. He scored at least 30 points in a game three times in the NBA, including a career-best 39 for the Philadelphia 76ers against the Los Angeles Clippers in March 2020.
Milton played college basketball at SMU, together with his new Partizan backcourt mate Sterling Brown. He was a second round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and made his professional debut with Philadelphia that year and spent five seasons there. In the 2023-24 campaign, he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks. Milton also played 32 games over two seasons in the G-League with the Delaware Blue Coats.
He is now set to make his EuroLeague debut with Partizan.
