Sasha Vezenkov was chosen as the 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague MVP, becoming the 17th player to receive the award since the current awards structure was introduced before the start of the 2004-05 season. In fact, only one player has been able to win the award twice: Anthony Parker, who was chosen as the EuroLeague MVP in the 2004-05 and 2005-06 EuroLeague campaigns.
Parker was also the first player to win the EuroLeague MVP award. Theo Papaloukas claimed the award in 2007, followed by Ramunas Siskauskas, Juan Carlos Navarro, Milos Teodosic, Dimitris Diamantidis, Andrei Kirilenko, Vassilis Spanoulis, Sergio Rodriguez, Nemanja Bjelica, Nando De Colo, Sergio Llull, Luka Doncic, Jan Vesely, Vasilije Micic and Nikola Mirotic, who received it in 2022.
