Buducnost keeps point guard Yogi Ferrell

One of the best scorers in the BKT EuroCup is set to keep filling the baskets for Buducnost VOLI Podgorica after the team announced a new deal with point guard Yogi Ferrell to stay together until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Ferrell (1.82 meters, 32 years old) averaged 12.4 points on 89.7% free throw shooting and 3.7 assists in 18 EuroCup games last season in helping Buducnost reach the playoffs. He started his professional career with the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA and also played for the Long Island Nets and the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League, the Dallas Mavericks, the Sacramento Kings, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the LA Clippers of the NBA, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens of Greece, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia and the Shanghai Sharks of China.
Ferrell helped Cedevita win back-to-back Slovenian League and Cup doubles in 2022 and 2023 and has led Buducnost to Montenegrin League championships in each of the last two seasons. In 2025, Ferrell also helped Buducnost win the Montenegrin Cup and reach the Adriatic League finals. in 59 EuroCup career games with Cedevita and Buducnost, Ferrell has averaged 14.6 points and 4.4 assists. He ranks third all-time in free throw shooting (91.2%), only trailing Ryan Toolson (94.7%) and Andrius Slezas (91.7%).
