Panionios Athens has signed promising Greek prospect Andreas Patrikis.
Patrikis (2.01 meters, 19 years old) arrives from Lavrio and boasts international experience with Greece’s U16, U18, and U20 national teams. Last season he appeared 13 games in the Greek League and totaled 12 points and 13 rebounds in limited minutes.
He is a product of the DEKA Academy, led by Greek basketball legend Nikos Chatzivrettas. Patrikis helped Greece to a fifth-place finish at EuroBasket U20. He was worth 7.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, highlighted by a 19-point, 6-rebound effort against Romania.
