Slask Wroclaw signs point guard Kadre Gray

Slask Wroclaw announced on Friday that it has signed Canadian point guard Kadre Gray for the 2025-26 campaign.
Gray (1.91 meters, 27 years old) arrives from CS Valcea, where last season he averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.2 steals. Gray was second in the league in both scoring and assists and third in PIR (21.0). He also had the highest-scoring game in the league with a 50-point effort against Rapid Bucharest in February. Valcea finished third in the regular season and reached the playoff semifinals.
The Canadian international has a bevvy of awards from his home country. He is a two-time winner of the Mike Moiser Memorial Trophy, given annually to the best men's basketball player in the Canadian university system. He was named the 2023 CEBL Canadian Player of the Year for his play with the Ottawa Blackjacks. Gray spent three summers with the Blackjacks and also played for the Fraser Valley Bandits and the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the CEBL.
Gray began his European career in 2021 with Leyma Coruña in the Spanish second division and the next year joined Bayern Leverkusen in the German second division. Then came a season in Poland with GTK Gliwice before his strong year in Romania last season. Gray has played for Canada at the FIBA AmeriCup and in World Cup qualifying.
