Crvena Zvezda strengthens backcourt with Devonte’ Graham

Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade made a major backcourt addition with the signing of experienced guard Devonte’ Graham, the club announced on Friday.
Graham (1.85 meters, 30 years old), a veteran of six NBA seasons, arrives from the South Bay Lakers of the G League, where he averaged 13.4 points and 4.5 assists across eight games. A proven scorer and floor general, Graham was a college star with the Kansas Jayhawks, where he was a consensus All-American and the Big 12 Conference Player of the Year.
After he was drafted in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft, Graham went on to play for the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, and San Antonio Spurs. His best season came in 2019-20, when Graham averaged 18.2 points and 7.5 assists in 63 games for Charlotte. A high-IQ guard with deep shooting range, Graham is expected to bring creativity and leadership to Zvezda’s offense as in his first EuroLeague campaign.
