AS Monaco finished its first Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season in style, beating visiting ALBA Berlin 91-74 on Friday night.

Monaco, which already knew it would finish in seventh place, improved to 15-13, and also learned it will face Olympiacos Piraeus in the playoffs due to Real Madrid's loss to Bayern Munich. ALBA, meanwhile, finishes at 12-16 in 10th place. Monaco took the lead for good with an 11-0 run bridging the first and second quarters, then pulled away to a big lead early in the third before cruising to victory. Dwayne Bacon shined with 19 points and 6 rebounds in 23 minutes, Donatas Motiejunas dominated inside with 18 points while Alpha Diallo scored 13 in victory. Christ Koumadje had 15 points plus 9 rebounds for ALBA. Yoel Zoosman scored 11, and Maodo Lo had 10 points in ALBA's final game of this season.

Both teams came out firing from long range. Zoosman hit a pair for ALBA, but Will Thomas and Diallo answered right back. A three-pointer apiece for Johannes Thiemann and Jaleen Smith had ALBA up 12-14, but Motiejunas scored 6 points inside, and Mike James had a three-point play to put Monaco up 17-15. Koumadje scored twice inside, including a three-point play, but the hosts scored the final 5 points of the quarter, including a last-second triple from Bacon to make it 26-22 after 10 minutes.
Monaco continued its run in the second quarter with Paris Lee knocking down a long three, and Hall tipping in his own miss to make it a first double-digit lead of the night, 32-22. A tip-in from Louis Olinde snapped an 11-0 run, and Olinde's dunk cut it to 34-26, but Lee hit a three-pointer before baskets from Motiejunas and Diallo opened a 43-26 margin. Lo had a three-pointer for ALBA and Tim Schneider added a put-back layup, before a pair of baskets from Smith helped cut it to 47-37, before another tip-in from Hall set the halftime score at 49-37.
Motiejunas scored the first 6 points of the third quarter to open an 18-point margin. Lo took it to the rim and Luke Sikma made a three-pointer, then dished it for Koumadje whose dunk cut it to 57-44. Bacon had a monster-dunk over Koumadje, but Tamir Blatt nailed a three-pointer and Olinde followed that with a layup to make it 59-51. Monaco responded as Motiejunas scored another layup and Leo Westermann added 5 points, including a triple in a 9-1 run, before Zoosman's last-second jumper made it 68-54 after 30 minutes.
Lo and Brock Motum traded close-range baskets, before Bacon's three-point play opened a 73-56 lead. Sikma and Smith scored layup for the visitors, but Motum nailed a corner triple before Bacon hit back-to-back threes in an 11-2 run to open a 84-62 margin. Koumadje scored 4 points for the visitors, but Diallo scored 6 more for the hosts as Monaco closed out the game.
