Aris Thessaloniki Betsson has confirmed the arrival of Alex Merkviladze. The length of his contract has not been disclosed.
Merkviladze (2.03 meters, 23 years old) joins Aris after spending the last four years with Loyola Marymount University, ranking sixth in program history for appearances made (119). Last season, as team captain, he averaged 10.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
The Georgia-born forward will look to help Aris's decent start to the BKT EuroCup campaign, having gone 2-1 through the first three rounds in Group A.
