Aris adds Jonathan Stark to backcourt

Aris Midea Thessaloniki beefed up its backcourt by signing Jonathan Stark. The veteran playmaker began the season with Israeli club Hapoel Haifa, but did not appear in any games for the team. Stark (1.84 meters, 28 years old) played for Orleans in the French second division last season and averaged 12.3 points and 5.1 assists. He will make his BKT EuroCup debut with Aris.
Stark played college basketball at Tulane and Murray State. He was the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year in his final season, 2017-18, as a teammate of Ja Morant. Stark began his professional career in the G-League with the Iowa Wolves and has played in Europe in Germany (Giessen), Hungary (Alba Fehervar) and France.
