Aris brings Trey Woodbury aboard
Aris Midea Thessaloniki has announced the signing of Trey Woodbury for the 2024-25 season.
Woodbury (1.93 meters, 24 years old) impressed in his first year in Europe last year, averaging 14.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists for Brose Bamberg in the German League.
Not only was the 2023-24 campaign Woodbury's first on the old continent, but it was his first as a professional. He started his college career at UNLV, remaining there for the 2018–2019 season, before heading to Utah Valley, which became his home for the next four years.
At Utah Valley, Woodbury wrote his name into the history books. The guard became the third player in college history to record a triple-double and is one of nine players to score more than 1,000 points with the Wolverines. What's more, he is the seventh-leading scorer and the second-leading passer in the program's history.
