Aris Midea Thessaloniki announced on Monday that it has signed small forward L.J. Figueroa for the remainder of the season. Figueroa (1.98 meters, 26 years old) last played for Leyma Coruña for which he averaged 6.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 11 Spanish League games. He made his EuroCup debut with ratiopharm Ulm last season and was worth 12.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 19 games in the competition.
Figueroa played college basketball for St. John’s University in New York and for the University of Oregon before beginning his professional career. He has also played for Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, Santa Cruz Warriors and the South Bay Lakers in the G League and Grises de Humacao in Puerto Rico.
