Bahcesehir, team captain Tyler Cavanaugh agree to new deal

Bahcesehir College Istanbul announced that power forward Tyler Cavanaugh will remain with the club next season.
Cavanaugh (2.06 meters, 31 years old) averaged 9.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in 22 BKT EuroCup games last season as he helped Bahcesehir get to the semifinals for the first time in club history. He ranked 14th in three-point shooting (44.1% 3FG). It was Cavanaugh's second season with the club.
He started his career with the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA and has also played for the Utah Jazz, as well as for the Erie Bay Hawks and the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League, ALBA Berlin in Germany, La Laguna Tenerife in Spain and Zalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania. Cavanaugh won the German League with ALBA in 2020 and the 2022 Lithuanian Cup and 2023 Lithuanian League with Zalgiris. Cavanaugh has also been a member of the USA national team.
