BAXI Manresa claimed its fourth Lliga Catalana title, and its first since 2021, by defeating Joventut Badalona 83-79 in the final held in Tarragona. Agustin Ubal and Hugo Benitez led the team with 14 points each. Benitez also contributed 6 rebounds and 4 assists, earning the tournament's MVP honors. Gustav Knudsen added 10 points for Manresa, which previously won the competition in 1997, 1999, and 2021.
Benitez sparked the team early with 8 quick points, helping Manresa build a 21-11 lead. They maintained a 40-35 advantage at halftime, and after Joventut tied the game at 48-48, a 7-0 run gave Coach Diego Ocampo's squad a 55-48 edge heading into the final quarter. Joventut mounted a comeback, narrowing the gap to 81-79 with just 22 seconds remaining. Dani Perez split a pair of free throws, Sam Dekker missed a three-point attempt, and Perez secured the win from the foul line. Manresa will kick off its first-ever BKT EuroCup campaign with an away match against Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana on October 1.
