Pallacanestro Brescia announced a new deal with swingman John Petrucelli, who re-signed his contract until the end of the 2023-24 campaign. Petrucelli (1.93 meters, 29 years old) averaged 10.6 points on 44.4% three-point shooting, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 32 Italian League games last season. He helped Brescia reach the Italian League semifinals and finish the Italian League regular season with a 21-9 record. Petrucelli started his professional basketball career with Iskra Svit of Slovakia. He also played for Erie Bay and Lakeland of the G League, Hapoel Beer Sheva of Israel and ratiopharm Ulm of Germany, with whom he made his 7DAYS EuroCup debut. He averaged 9.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in 10 EuroCup games in the 2020-21 campaign.
