The forward will likely crack the competition’s all-time top 10 in scoring this season
Buducnost bags former All-EuroCup selection Axel Bouteille

Buducnost VOLI Podgorica fortified its roster by signing small forward Axel Bouteille for the 2025-26 season, the club announced Tuesday.
Bouteille (2.01 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Bahcesehir College Istanbul, where he has spent the last two years. He averaged 11.1 points on 43.2% three-point shooting and 4.8 rebounds per game last season in helping the club reach the BKT EuroCup Semifinals. Two years before that, Bouteille led Turk Telekom to the EuroCup Finals and was named to the 2022-23 All-EuroCup First team.
In six EuroCup seasons – one each with Chalon-sur-Saone of his native France, Unicaja Malaga in Spain, and Turkish sides Turk Telekom and Bahcesehir and two with France's Limoges CSP – Bouteille has become one of the greats of the competition. He enters this season tied for 13th all-time in EuroCup scoring with 1,205 points and needing just 35 more points to crack the all-time top 10. He is also tied for 13th in career three-pointers made (171) and ranked 19th in three-point accuracy (44.5%).
