Cedevita Olimpija adds Bine Prepelic

Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana has confirmed the signing of Bine Prepelic on a two-year deal.
Prepelic (2.00 meters, 22 years old) is the younger brother of Klemen Prepelic, who spent seven years playing in the BKT EuroCup and four campaigns in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
Last season, Bine averaged 8.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 29 BNXT League games for Belgian side Charleroi.
"Bine Prepelic is part of a new generation of Slovenian basketball players," said Cedevita sporting director Chechu Mulero. "We are pleased that he has decided to join Cedevita Olimpija as we are confident that we have what it takes for him to take a step forward in his game. He has improved everywhere he has played in recent seasons, so we will be closely monitoring his progress in the coming seasons. At the same time, we expect that every minute he steps on the floor, he will bring energy, desire and fighting spirit to the team."
Prepelic began his career with the Helios Suns in his native Slovenia and was a first-team member of the squad between 2019 and 2022. He then decided to move to Charleroi and posted decent numbers in the BNXT League. The young power forward is now back in Slovenia as he looks to help Cedevita mount a good season in the EuroCup.
