Cedevita Olimpija defends its Slovenian crown!

Cedevita Olimpija Ljubjana completed its fourth straight Slovenian double by downing Krka 72-65 at Stozice Arena in Game 4 of the best-of-five Slovenian League finals.
Brynton Lemar led the winners with 16 points. Aleksej Nikolic added 14 while Danilo Tasic had 11 for Cedevita. It all came down to the final minutes as Krka got within 66-63 before Nikolic buried a critical three-pointer and added free throws to seal the outcome.
Cedevita opened the series with a 73-75 road win at Leon Stukelj Hall in Novo Mesto behind 13 points apiece from Nikolic and Gregor Glas. It also prevailed in Game 2, downing Krka 77-70 at home. Nikolic led the way again with 17 points while Jaka Blazic added 14. Krka bounced back with an 88-81 home win in Game 3 before Cedevita won the title in front of its fans.
Added to its five Slovenian League titles, Olimpija claimed 17 Slovenian crowns before merging with Cedevita for a total of 22 trophies since 1992.
