Cedevita Olimpija puts DeVante Jones at point guard

Cedevita Olimpija continued building its roster for the 2024-25 season with the addition of point guard DeVante Jones, the club announced Thursday. Jones (1.83 meters, 26 years old) arrives from French side Le Mans.
"I’m extremely excited to sign with Cedevita Olimpija", Jones told the club's website. "This is a big step for me and this year is all about winning."
Last season, Jones averaged 15.9 points, 5.2 assists and 2.5 rebounds playing 27 minutes per game in 33 French League games. He also posted 12.3 points, 4.9 assists and 2.1 rebounds in seven Basketball Champions League appearances.
Jones spent both of his first two professional seasons in France. After a college career that saw him play at Coastal Carolina College and the University of Michigan, Jones spent the 2022-23 season in the French capital with Metropolitans 92, where he posted 7.9 points and 4.4 assists playing alongside Victor Wembanyama.
Last season he wore the Le Mans uniform and now he is set to make his BKT EuroCup debut.
