Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana reached a new agreement with Edo Muric to keep working together next season, the club announced Monday. Muric (2.02 meters, 30 years old) averaged 10.5 points on 69.2% two-point shooting and 5.3 rebounds in 20 7DAYS EuroCup games last season, helping Cedevita reach the quarterfinals. Muric led Cedevita to the Slovenian double - league and cup titles -, earning MVP honors in the Slovenian Cup final four tournament. Muric started his career with Parklji Bezigrad and Krka Novo Mesto of Slovenia, and also played for Partizan NIS Belgrade of Serbia, Banvit Bandirma and Anadolu Efes Istanbul of Turkey and Stelmet Enea Zielona Gora of Poland before joining Cedevita Zagreb in December 2018.
Cedevita re-signs forward Muric

Muric won six Slovenian League titles - four with Krka from 2011 to 2014, and with Cedevita in each of the last two seasons -, lifted the Slovenian Cup trophy with Krka in 2014 and Cedevita in 2022, and claimed two more domestic cup crowns - with Banvit in 2017 and Cedevita Zagreb in 2019. He also helped Slovenia win a gold medal at EuroBasket 2017. "Three years ago, we started writing the story of Cedevita Olimpija in Ljubljana, which during this period, progressed from season to season, and I believe that we will continue in the same rhythm in the future," Muric said after the agreement. "I am happy to stay in Ljubljana. I am already inviting all fans to join us at all our home matches and to continue to take care of the great atmosphere in Stozice and Tivoli."
