Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana has reached an agreement with Yogi Ferrell for the point guard to remain at Arena Stozice for the upcoming season, the club announced on Wednesday. Ferrell (1.82 meters, 29 years old) joined Cedevita in the middle of last season and went on to average 15.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 15 7DAYS EuroCup matches.
Cedevita re-signs guard Ferrell

Ferrell's first experience in the EuroCup came with Cedevita last season, but in the first part of the 2021-22 campaign, he played in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague for Panathinaikos OPAP Athens. However, he only made five appearances off the bench, recording overall totals of eight points and nine assists. Ferrell spent four years at Indiana University before alternating between the G League and the NBA, going on to represent Long Island and Salt Lake City in the former and Brooklyn, Dallas, Sacramento, Cleveland and the Los Angeles Clippers in the latter. He won the Slovenian League and Slovenian Cup with Cedevita last season.
“I am happy to continue to be a part of Cedevita Olimpija and to join forces again with Edo [Muric], Zoran [Dragic] and Alen [Omic] and all the other guys who stayed in Ljubljana from last season and those who have and will join us this summer," said Ferrell. "I believe that we will enter the new season highly motivated to improve the results of last season and that all of our fans will continue to enjoy our good performances and fight in our games. I can’t wait for the new season to start."
