U-BT Cluj-Napoca added fire power to its roster by inking stretch forward Jarell Eddie to a one-year deal, the club announced Friday. Eddie (2.01 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Buyuksehir Hastanesi Konyaspor Basketbol, where he averaged 13.9 points on 42.9% three-point shooting and 6.6 rebounds in 27 Turkish League games last season.

Eddie started his career with Austin of the G League, and also played for Washington, Chicago and Boston of the NBA, Windy City of the G League, Strasbourg of France and UCAM Murcia of Spain before making his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul. He averaged 5.9 points on 44.2% three-point shooting and 2.1 rebounds in 31 EuroLeague games in the 2020-21 season. Eddie returned to Strasbourg and also played for San Pablo Burgos of Spain before joining Konyaspor. He helped Strasbourg win the French Leaders Cup title in 2019. An accomplished three-point shooter, Eddie is set to make his BKT EuroCup debut with Cluj in the upcoming 2023-24 season.
