Cluj captures crafty combo guard Trey Woodbury

U-BT Cluj-Napoca continued strengthening its backcourt for the 2025–26 BKT EuroCup season by signing guard Trey Woodbury, the club announced Monday.
Woodbury (1.93 m, 25 years old) arrives from Aris Midea Thessaloniki, where he averaged 10.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 12 EuroCup games last season, his first in the competition. Before joining Aris, he began his pro career in Germany with Brose Bamberg for the 2023–24 campaign.
In College, Woodbury starred at Utah Valley, where he wrote his name into the history books. The guard became the third player in college history to record a triple-double and is one of nine players to score more than 1,000 points with the Wolverines. What's more, he is the seventh-leading scorer and the second-leading passer in the program's history. Woodbury was named First-Team All-Western Athletic Conference in 2023.
