Coach Gavel, Ulm: 'We shot the lights out'

ratiopharm Ulm head coach Anton Gavel:
"Congratulations to all the guys to win this game. Offensively we were shooting the lights out but defensively we were not there. Twenty turnovers, we lost control in the third quarter and we’ve got to get better there. But the shooting night was there.
"We don’t know [the extent of Yago Dos Santos’s injury], but this is really bad for us. Yago is very important for us and we will see how long he is going to be out for. Hopefully, it’s not that bad but it’s a tough one.
"We have to be competitive. This is something we were missing in Ljubljana last week where we got beaten by 30 and we have to put a fight every single time, every single night, even when we don’t have shooting nights like today. It’s not going to happen every time and we have to be there and compete every night."
ratiopharm Ulm forward Karim Jallow:
"I think we shared the ball really, really nice, we made a lot of shots so it felt really good being on the court today. The whole team performed and that’s very important. Everybody will be going home with a good feeling and it was a great win for us.
"We got a really great addition with Brandon [Paul], you really could see today what he is capable of and that’s just his first game. He is going to push the team because he’s got a lot of experience. We are a young team and we needed a guy like him. Like all season we’ve been fighting with injuries but no matter who is on the court, we wanted to win this game and everyone on the court showed that."
