"First of all, congratulations to the team and my players for this great win, which gives us the right to make another step and play the EuroCup Semifinal next week. The game started offensively well, but we didn't understand the game well in the first quarter because we didn't defend. We let Paris score fastbreak baskets, take offensive rebounds, all the things that we didn't want. After, the second, third and fourth quarters were excellent. We kept on attacking well, smart, with patience but defensively, we stepped up, ran back, stopped their transition. I think we were very good on defense and that's why in the end, looked like an easy win but it wasn't easy.
"Paris is a very athletic team, strong, plays physical, and we needed a great effort to win. Again, congrats to my players. I believe that we had a good start of the game, with John [Shurna] showing us the way on offense. That gave us confidence on offense. All players were involved and we played well. In the second half, what I liked the most is that we were patient enough to take one extra pass, looking for a better shot. We had patience to look for the best shot and our good offensive balance led to a good defensive balance, which gave us this win."
"That's a very good team. I am cheering for those guys to represent our group. I think they have a great chance to win it all. We can learn a lot from this game and we still have a lot to play for, fighting for the playoffs in our domestic competition.
"Sincere congratulations to the best team we have played against in the EuroCup. I think they are certainly one of my favorites, if not the favorite, to win the whole thing. Deep, well-coached... their Frenchmen [Inglis and Albicy] in particular were outstanding tonight. Andrew Albicy was dominant: defensively, he got two steals but he also forced offensive fouls. He didn't commit a single foul in the entire game, which is incredible. He just has the best hands maybe in the continent, to be able to disrupt as much as he did and not have a single foul and create many disruptive plays as he did. So congrats to those Frenchmen and best of luck to Gran Canaria. [They scored] 44% on 29 threes as compared to 17% on 23 threes. You almost don't need to look at any of the other numbers, but they get a lot of credit for executing in a way it is needed to create these shots."
"It was a great game and we have to enjoy tonight. We are going back to work tomorrow because we have Barca in the ACB this week, and next week, we have Joventut, so it is just another game. We are happy and will celebrate tonight but tomorrow, back to work."
