Boulogne Metropolitans 92 forced Lietkabelis Panevezys into too many mistakes and those turnovers made the difference.

Lietkabelis finished the game with 25 turnovers, 9 of them in the fourth quarter. It was the most turnovers Lietkabelis had committed all season; its previous high was 20 in Round 14 against Partizan NIS Belgrade. It was also the club's second-most in a EuroCup game; Lietkabelis previously had 26 against Khimki Moscow Region on February 1, 2017. The 25 turnovers also tied for the second-most in the EuroCup this season.

Metropolitans finished the game with 19 turnovers, which is far from acceptable, but collected a season-high 14 steals. Metropolitans scored 33 points off turnovers and Lietkabelis just 16.
Metropolitans also outrebounded Lietkabelis 33-29 and only allowed its opponent 9 offensive boards. The hosts shot the ball slightly better, too. Metropolitans made 53.7% of its two-point shots led by Vince Hunter, who downed 8 of 11 inside the arc, and 36.8% from downtown. Jordan McRae made half of his 6 three-point attempts. Lietkabelis had lower shooting percentages (52.8% 2FG, 33.3% 3FG).
