Boulogne Metropoitans 92 head coach Vincent Collet:
"I think we elevated our defensive intensity. Both teams have turned the ball over too many times but we made many steals in the last quarter, and from these good defensive stops, we had some fastbreak points and that made the difference. We took back the lead and defense was really the key. It was a team effort, but Lahaou Konate was fantastic on the ball. He put fantastic pressure and I think that changed the way they played. We were a little bit bothered, disturbed and before that, they were excellent, especially in their pick-and-roll offense. But when we could put this higher pressure on the ball, that changed the way they played. They were a little bit in panic and that made the difference."
Lietkabelis Panevezys head coach Nenad Canak:
"We had 25 turnovers, which is too many against a team of this level like Metropolitans. So from those turnovers, they made easy fastbreak points. That gave them confidence and in the end, they made some tough shots. But the first impression of the game is we couldn't play our way in offense and allowed them to get so many steals."

"I am proud of my team, we really came out and fought. We stayed together and produced good runs at the end... The difference for tonight was just toughness. We stayed together as a team and showed that we can be tough, and at the end of the game it really showed. We had a lot of key spots, a lot of key buckets. Tomer [Ginat] made two big buckets down the stretch that really lifted us for the win. What do I expect in the next round? I expect to win! It is simple, I expect to win. We didn't do all this work all year to just play one game. We expect to win and keep going."
