Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana clinched third place in Group B by downing Promitheas Patras 67-88 on the road on Wednesday.

Cedevita grabbed its eighth consecutive victory to finish the regular season with an 11-7 record. Promitheas bowed out of the EuroCup with a 4-14 record and 10th place in the group. Jacob Pullen led the winners with 19 points, Marko Radovanovic scored 15, Yogi Ferrell 14 and Zach Auguste 13. Dimitris Agravanis paced Promitheas with 16 points, Jerai Grant added 15 and Athanasios Bazinas and Georgios Tanoulis each had 11 for the hosts. Pullen and Ferrell combined for 18 first-quarter points as Cedevita stormed to a 15-29 lead after 10 minutes and the outcome was never in question after that.

Ferrell got Cedevita going with a three-pointer. Agravanis answered from downtown for the hosts. Alen Omic and Bazinas traded layups before Ferrell scored in penetration for a 5-7 Cedevita lead. Pullen bettered Grant's dunk with a three-pointer and Ferrell followed a driving layup with a triple that boosted the lead to 9-14. Grant swished a six-meter jumper, but Zoran Dragic and Pullen each struck from beyond the arc, prompting Promitheas to call timeout at 11-20. After Mihajlo Andric and Omic exchanged jump hooks, Pullen took over with a three-point play and Auguste erased Grant's layup with a dunk. Dragic's buzzer-beating reverse layup fixed the score at 15-29 after 10 minutes.
Pullen insisted from beyond the arc to break the game open, 15-32, early in the second quarter. Agravanis banked in a running hook that Auguste bettered with back-to-back dunks. Radovanovic scored around the basket, but Grant and Abdul Gaddy brought Promitheas a bit closer, 23-39. Auguste stepped up with a layup that Grant erased with a quick basket in transition. Bazinas took over with a driving layup and a put-back basket. Melvin Ejim found his first points and Dan Duscak added a three-pointer that kept Cedevita out of trouble, 29-46. Gaddy scored again to get the hosts within 31-48 at halftime.
Ferrell kept pushing Cedevita with a driving layup. Omic scored around the basket and Pullen added a three-pointer, after which Promitheas called timeout at 31-55. Bazinas answered from downtown and Edo Muric followed a driving layup with a shot from downtown. Angelios Lagios scored in penetration to make it 36-60. Pullen and Muric each swished a step-back jumper, but Agravanis singlehandedly brought his team within 42-64. Grant dunked again and Lagios matched Dragic's baseline jumper with a coast-to-coast layup. Bazinas scored off a steal and Tanoulis made a jumper to give Promitheas hope, 51-66, after 30 minutes.
Tanoulis provided a highlight with an alley-oop layup early in the fourth quarter. Radovanovic answered with a three-point play and Pullen buried a triple in transition that sealed the outcome, 53-72, with less than 8 minutes left. Tanoulis scored in the paint, Radovanovic buried one from beyond the arc and Auguste dunked for a 56-77 Cedevita margin. Agravanis dunked off a steal and soon added a coast-to-coast layup to bring Promitheas within 64-80. Radovanovic stepped up with a fastbreak layup and by the time he added free throws, everything was said and done.
