Turk Telekom Ankara finished the regular season on a winning note and claimed sixth place in Group A with a 95-70 win over the visiting Hamburg Towers on Wednesday night.

Turk Telekom won its third consecutive game to finish the regular season with an 8-8 record and will play Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana in the eighthfinals. Hamburg placed seventh with a 6-10 record and will travel to face Valencia Basket in the eighthfinals. Turk Telekom took control of the game in the second quarter and then blew it open in the third when it built a 22-point margin and cruised the rest of the way. Alex Perez paced the winners with 17 points and 7 assists. Aubrey Dawkins also scored 17, Can Ogut netted 14, JaJuan Johnson had 12 points and Anthony Clemmons scored 11 in the winning effort. Jaylon Brown led Hamburg with 21 points, Trevon Bluiett added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Maik Kotsar collected 12 points and 15 rebounds.

The teams traded blows at the start. Brown and Dawkins each hit a triple in the opening minutes and Johnson made a baseline jumper to open a 9-5 lead. Hamburg had an answer with a pair of triples from Bluiett that put the visitors up 13-15. Perez made back-to-back long jumpers to restore Turk Telekom's lead before Brown sparked a 0-6 run to make it 17-21. But in the remaining time in the first quarter, Ogut sank a pair of triples, including one in the last second to give Turk Telekom a 25-23 edge after 10 minutes.
Hamburg made 5 free throws to open the second quarter, but the visitors did not score a single field goal in the opening 4 minutes of the quarter, while Dawkins scored 5 points, including a corner triple. Another three from Ogut made it 35-28. Robin Christen answered with a three for Hamburg, but Clemmons and Perez extended the margin to 39-31. After Brown added to his tally with a triple, Clemmons made a corner three-pointer to spark a 6-0 run that made it 45-34. Jordan Walker knocked down a three-pointer for Hamburg and Seth Hinrichs hit a tough jumper. Back-to-back dunks from Johnson and Samit Geyik kept the margin at 10 points before Bluiett's three-pointer made it 49-42 at halftime.
Turk Telekom scored the first 6 points in the third with Johnson, Dawkins and Clemmons doing the damage and opening a 13-point margin. Brown made a jumper and a triple that helped cut it to 57-49. Brown also committed his fourth personal foul and the hosts quickly restored a double-digit lead with fastbreak baskets from Johnson and Perez. A three-pointer from Dorukhan Engindeniz and a three-point play from Perez made it 67-51. The hosts did not stop there, as Berk Demir had had a three-point play and Ogut finished the quarter with a triple to open a 77-55 advantage.
Things slowed down in the fourth quarter. Lukas Meisner made a triple for Hamburg, but Octavius Allis had a three-point play for the hosts, 82-58. Walker also sank a three for Hamburg only to see Johnson and Dawkins keep the margin intact as Turk Telekom closed out the game.
