Despite Khalifa Diop's early foul trouble, Gran Canaria found Damien Inglis, Olek Balcerowski and Miquel Salvo at all times around the baskets. Those three Gran Canaria big men combined for 22 first-half points on 10-of-11 two-point shooting (90.9% 2FG). Balcerowski was particularly effective, reaching halftime with 13 points on 6-of-6 shooting and 8 rebounds for a PIR of 20.
