Veolia Hamburg Towers head coach Raoul Korner:
"The team really wanted it, you could see from the very beginning that the team played with a lot of energy. The team doesn’t quit, that’s not who we are. Last week we were in a similar situation, we were behind over 10 points and had a chance to win it. I am very happy for the guys that this time it worked out... We had the rebounds under control the last two games, we’ve made a step forward there. In the second quarter, we had too many turnovers which gave them the momentum and this is one of the keys. I am very happy that we were able to make some shots down the stretch because at the end of the day, you have to put the ball in the basket. They hit some tough ones and fortunately, were able to sink some shots too, it helps win basketball games."
