Coach Urlep, Slask: 'We got the monkey off our back'

Slask Wroclaw head coach Andrej Urlep:
“We got the monkey off our back so that was very important. We won because of real determination and dedication from the players on the defensive end. It was definitely one of our best defensive games and that’s what got us the win. We got a little lack of energy in the second half, but still we kept working.
“I’m very happy because the players really showed they care about winning. We haven’t lost our desire to win in this EuroCup and we are still in the fight to get to the playoffs. Really great work in the transition game defensively.”
Dolomiti Energia Trento head coach Emanuele Molin:
“I must congratulate Slask and coach Urlep. They played the game with great intensity and really good tough defense. Even if we come here with a purpose to compete and work hard to try to get a win, what we showed on the court was not enough to even compete. We did not have the mental or physical energy in the first two quarters to react to what Slask did. When the game was broken we tried, but it was a bad night. We look forward and will try to work hard for the next game.”
