“We had a very good approach to the third quarter. Our defense was excellent, we controlled the turnovers, and we started to play earlier than in the first half. We did exactly what we wanted to do. In the fourth quarter our energy was lower and we didn’t know how to do things easily, we had to win like this. It’s a prestigious victory for the club, the team, the country, but we don’t have too much time to enjoy it. Partizan is one off the best rosters, with the best coach in Europe, and is one of the front runners to win this EuroCup with Lokomotiv, Valencia, Virtus…that’s why I say it’s a very prestigious victory. We had players who are going to play in the NBA and probably the best coach in the history of the EuroLeague.”
