Buducnost VOLI Podgorica continued is putting finishing touches on its re-shaped roster by bringing guard Vladimir Mihailovic back to the club after almost a decade away. Mihailovic (1.93 meters, 33 years old), whose signing was announced on Saturday, arrives from a fellow Montenegrin rival Mornar Bar where he spent last two years. Last season he averaged 15.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists in nine Adriatic League appearances, missing second part of last season with a pair of injury.

Mihailovic returns to Buducnost where previously played from 2010 to 2014. During that time he helped the team reach the EuroCup quarterfinals in 2012 and 2013. During those years he made all of his 43 appearances in the EuroCup, averaging 5.4 points per game. He also helped Buducnost win four Montenegrin League and three Montenegrin Cup titles.
Mihailovic grew up with Mornar, and after his four-year stint with Buducnost, he went on to play with Oostende and Okapi in Belgium, Tuebingen, Wuerzburg and Oldenburg in Germany, as well as Anwil in Poland and Tsmoki-Minsk in Belarus.
He has also been a member of the Montenegrin national team and is currently preparing for the upcoming 2023 FIBA World Cup.
