George Conditt scored 7 of his personal-best 22 points in the fourth quarter to help Promitheas Patras hold on for an 81-77 victory over Veolia Towers Hamburg on Tuesday night at Dimitris Tofalos Arena. The game featured 10 lead changes in the fourth quarter alone before Joe Young sank go-ahead free throws in the final minute. Young finished with 23 points for the winners and Conditt also collected 10 rebounds for his first EuroCup double-double. Yoeli Childs shined for Hamburg with 17 points and 16 boards. The result gave Promitheas at least a share of first place in Group B with a 3-1 record while Hamburg fell to 2-2.
