Prometey rallied from a double-digit deficit to beat Lietkabelis 72-80 at Cido Arena in Round 10 on Wednesday evening. Promitheas gained an important victory in its fight to make the playoffs as it defeated Trento 84-71 at home. Promitheas took control of the game with a 17-2 third-quarter run to snap a three-game home losing streak and improve to 6-4 in Group B. George Conditt led the way with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Arnoldas Kulboka scored 16 points. Trento’s road woes continued as it fell to 2-8 overall and 0-6 away from home this season, extending the club’s EuroCup road losing streak to 20 games dating back to November 2020. Drew Crawford had 15 points in the losing effort.
Bourg took the lead in the first quarter of its game against Cluj and then led the rest of the way, going on to win 79-88 at BTarena. Bourg improved to 7-3 with the victory, giving it a one-game lead at the top of the Group A standings, while Cluj dropped to 3-7. Jordan Floyd scored a team-high 16 points for Bourg, who also had Isiaha Mike and James Palmer contribute 12 points apiece. For Cluj, Patrick Richard finished with a game-high 20 points in the loss.
Buducnost avenged an opening-game loss and moved up in the Group B standings by downing undermanned host Hamburg 59-87. Buducnost lifted its record to 6-4 while Hamburg fell into danger at 3-6, just one win into the playoffs zone. Erick Green, in his EuroCup return, led Buducnost with 22 points and Aleksa Ilic posted a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. Hamburg, which was missing four players who average a combined 39.8 points, got 18 from Marvin Clark plus 17 and 12 rebounds from Lukas Meisner.
Group B leader Gran Canaria improved to 8-2 and held on to the top spot with a hard-fought 79-91 win at Slask Wroclaw, with the home side dropping to 1-9 at the bottom of the standings after running out steam in the final quarter of an absorbing contest. David Mutaf paced the visitors with 19 points, shooting 7-for-12 from the floor and 5-for-8 from three-point range. Center Aleksander Dziewa led Slask with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Reyer got back to winning ways with a no-doubt-about-it 89-69 win over the visiting Ulm. The victory snapped Reyer's two-game losing streak, lifting its record to 6-4 in Group A, while Ulm dropped to 5-5. The win also gives Reyer a tiebreak advantage over Ulm, since Ulm won their season-opener by 1 point. Mitchell Watt paced the hosts with 19 points and Derek Willis scored 17. For Ulm, Bruno Caboclo had 18 points and 8 rebounds in his EuroCup debut.
Hapoel rallied from 14 points down in the fourth quarter to knock off London 93-95 on the road in a Group B thriller. Jordan McRae scored 15 of his 36 points in the final frame for an index rating of 40 as Hapoel improved to 6-4 with its third straight win. J’Covan Brown added 18 points - including the game-winning jumper with 12 seconds left. London dropped its third straight game to fall to 4-6 despite Sam Dekker pouring in 29 points.
